ATTENTION ALL LICENSEES
NEW FINGERPRINT REQUIREMENTS

 

Act 236 of the 2006 Regular Session of the Louisiana Legislature amended LSA-R.S. 6:121.2 effective June 2, 2006.  The Commissioner is authorized to request and obtain state and national criminal history record information on any person applying for any license with the Office of Financial Institution and to assess the cost of obtaining such information to the applicant.  Beginning August 1, 2006 all applicants, including all principals as required in the application, must submit two full sets of fingerprint cards and $45.25 to cover the cost of obtaining the information.
